In the Cabinet on the second floor of the exhibition, a number of painters and fans of the mountains present their pictures or create them on the spot – perhaps you’d like to join in too? The start of each exhibition is marked with an official opening. The Openings take place in german language.

· 21 August to 16 September 2018 – «Leisure mountains»

Living-room mountains

Is there a mountain painting hanging over your sofa, by your bed, or in your kitchen?
We’re looking for your own beautiful mountains for our exhibition in the Cabinet from
23 April to 10 June 2018.

Take a photo of your painting hanging at home and send it along with details of your address and telephone number as well as the measurements of the painting by 1 April to info@alpinesmuseum.ch. We’ll put together an exhibition from the paintings we’ve been proposed and will get back to you in early April. All the paintings selected should be brought to the Alpine Museum at an arranged time before 20 April.

The exhibition will open in the Cabinet on 24 April 2018.
