About the Lost and Found Memories Office
Lost and Found Memories Office is a groundbreaking project at the Swiss Alpine Museum that invites people to contribute their stories, recollections, and personal objects to the collection. This opens up the museum to everyday experts and makes the collection accessible in innovative ways. In the exhibition space in Bern, everyday topics encourage visitors to interact with the exhibits. Memories Lost and Found also exists in digital form, so that anyone anywhere with an interest in the collection project can contribute regardless of where they are. As it progresses, it will be extended to museums in mountain regions, thereby establishing a vibrant network with a wide appeal.
