Collection

Since it opened in 1905, the Swiss Alpine Museum has been collecting objects and art that are associated with the mountains. Today it houses a diverse and comprehensive collection of items, encompassing visuals created by tourists, maps, climbing gear, raised relief landscapes, photos, and art.
